CD / DVD / BLU RAY PRINTING

Any media, be it a CD, DVD, mini CD, mini DVD or blue ray, can be personalized with very high quality color printing directly on the surface of the disc. To do this, different techniques can be used, depending on the quantities to be printed and the specific needs of each production.

Silkscreen printing: it is an industrial method that allows you to print pantone colors, essential when you need to print logos with the absolute certainty of faithfully reproducing the desired colors.
Silkscreen printing is also very suitable when printing large areas of spot color, while it is not particularly suitable when reproducing high resolution images and / or shaded colors.
Screen printing requires systems and long machine setups, therefore it is not suitable for very small print runs, the minimum quantity is at least 300 copies.

Offset printing: it is an industrial method that allows you to print high definition images on the disk, the printing is done using 5 colors (white background + cmyk four-color process).
As for screen printing, offset printing also requires systems and setups that do not make it suitable for very small print runs, the minimum quantity is at least 300 copies.

Digital UV offset: it is a digital printing technique that is carried out on specific discs, particularly suitable for printing high definition images, it can perfectly print even large areas of spot color on most of the color range. The digital UV offset printing also allows you to simulate Pantone colors, except for special, fluorescent and metallized ones. The printed surface will have a very high mechanical resistance to scratches, does not fear water and does not discolour over time.
UV digital offset printing, requiring neither plants nor long setups of industrial machines, is extremely convenient for small print runs (up to 300-500 copies).

Inkjet and thermal: Brief introduction: our company does not use these two printing methods as they are obsolete and not very qualitative. The inkjet printing is done with very cheap printers and is extremely inconsistent in color, also just touch the print with lightly sweaty fingers to smear the ink on the surface of the disc. Thermal printing, although not afraid of water, is easily scratched and is not very faithful in the reproduction of colors, altering them considerably compared to the original print file. As anticipated in the introduction, our company does not use inkjet printing and thermal printing, considering them unprofessional and not suitable for the quality level that we usually guarantee to our customers.
